This Seals It

So I was messing about in the kitchen (aka half assed helping my husband do dishes) and my four year old said it. "Mom, you're fat." It wasn't meant to be mean, just an honest observation of a four year old. So, that seals it. Now I am more motivated than ever to lose the extra weight.

  1. Sometimes one little thing is all it takes. Ive started a new DVD that promises to get me fit 'faster than any other programme'. At my age thats promising a lot, but we'll see. Its not that Im old, but Ive learned it really is true that he older you are the harder it is to lose. See? You have that advantage, you young thing!! ;)

  2. Ouch!! Kids can be brutally honest! Glad it's motivating you and not discouraging you!

  5. Ouch that hurts. Been there as well.

Kids say what they see and mean without the brain mouth barrier most of us have grown as adults.

  7. Yeah, I've gotten those comments from all my nieces and nephews. I wasn't quite as overweight as I am now when my daughter was young and uninhibited in her speech though.
